RECENT SIGNIFICANT SETTLEMENT

Our office recently settled a case on behalf of a 55 year old Humboldt County resident who suffered a serious right ankle trimalleolar fracture /dislocation when a log struck him at a log landing. Our client, a truck driver, was standing next to his truck, when the defendant loader operator lost control of a log, which in  turn struck our client. Medical bills were approximately $50,000 and there was some lost income. In addition the client will likely require surgery on his ankle. The case settled for $650,000.
