We do what we do because of a) the loyal turnout of avid fans with open ears, eager to hear a variety of major players on the contemporary jazz & improvised music scene; b) those artists and their agents, who often go to extraordinary lengths to come check out life behind the Redwood Curtain; and c) the stalwart support of an elite group of local businesses, professionals, and individuals, who along with several offices at HSU and a small cadre of dedicated members have liberally contributed money, goods, and services to enhance Humboldt's cultural landscape with world-class jazz.

We're a non-profit, and it's the generous support of such civic-minded members of the community that lets us keep ticket prices low (and workshops free).
